Destiny Library System

The North Star Library Consortium provides Folletts Destiny Library Manager, a web-based centralized library catalog and management system, for the school districts and special libraries of Minnesota. It began as a joint project of Northern Lights Library Network and

Region 1 and is now available statewide through the efforts of other Minnesota multi-type library systems. The Follett Destiny Library Manager software is centrally hosted and administered at Region 1.

Region 1 hosted advantages:
- We maintain regular, secure backups of your data.
- Software upgrades are performed by our staff for as they become available.
- 99% Server uptime!
- Data integration for those sites that also have their GENESIS Student Information System hosted with us.
Student demographic information is shared to Destiny, eliminating double entry work. Current library activity is also shared back to the GENESIS ParentVUE for parents.
