This session will cover the updated State DIRS reporting codes for 2021 and beyond. We will also review how to properly enter in an incident, required fields and frequently missed steps. Teacher referrals will also be included.

MIIC Immunization Import: New AISR Process

Synergy can now import immunizations using MDH’s AISR Bulk Query Function. This allows districts to pull MIIC records, as well as receive COVID specific vaccination information in one step. Geared toward your district nurse, or other district health staff, join us to learn about the updates to the MIIC Export/Import process in Synergy, and how the new AISR process can help you.

Synergy Tips & Tricks

Join us for our annual Synergy Tips & Tricks class. Every year, the Region 1 staff comes up with new tips and tricks to help you use Synergy more efficiently, along with refresher tidbits thrown in that we introduce to districts in their initial training. Maybe you are new to Synergy, or can’t remember the initial training – that’s OK! We’ll highlight both old and new tips and tricks to improve your Synergy experience. This class is always fast-paced and fun!

Synergy - Importing Test Data; Definitions Set-Up

Do you have an interest in knowing how to import your district’s student testing/assessment data into Synergy? If so, then this is the session for you. We will show attendees how to use this feature provided in the Test Import screen in Synergy, and set up test import definitions so that the correct district testing/assessment data is imported into Synergy.

Ed-Fi & MARSS in Synergy

Now that you are syncing to Production in Ed-Fi, join us in reviewing what you need to do in Synergy in order to make the Ed-Fi reporting process successful. We will run through existing and new screens in Synergy, and provide you with important information about where Ed-Fi required data elements need to be entered. We will also discuss current state reporting data, such as MARSS, and its relation to the Ed-Fi reporting requirements.

School Nurse/Health Module Roundtable

The School Nurse Roundtable session will be an open forum for school nurses and other interested district staff members to share their experience working with the Health module in Synergy. Your district will be able to ask questions and provide feedback based on your day to day functions. We will gather questions and feedback from those who register as we move closer to the session date.
