Synergy Online Registration (OLR) Roundtable

For current OLR districts and those considering adding it in the future, the OLR Roundtable provides an open forum for school districts to share the knowledge they’ve gained after implementing OLR, ask questions of other OLR districts, and discuss unique aspects of the OLR module. Attendees will be able to provide feedback based on their district's OLR experience, such as first year expectations, best practices in OLR rollout (example: communicating to parents, training staff, etc), things to consider in moving beyond year one, and any tips and tricks that you’ve come across along the way.

Synergy Gradebook Troubleshooting

Want to learn some helpful hints and best practices in troubleshooting Synergy Gradebook and TeacherVUE? Join us as we cover both Elementary schools using the objective based report cards, and Secondary schools using the subject based report cards. You’ll gain valuable information to help your teachers succeed in using Gradebook and updating their report cards.

Synergy Tips & Tricks

Join us for our annual Synergy Tips & Tricks class. Every year, the Region 1 staff comes up with new tips and tricks to help you use Synergy more efficiently, along with refresher tidbits thrown in that we introduce to districts in their initial training. Maybe you are new to Synergy, or can’t remember the initial training – that’s OK! We’ll highlight both old and new tips and tricks to improve your Synergy experience. This class is always fast-paced and fun!

Ed-Fi & MARSS in Synergy

If your district is currently onboarding to the Ed-Fi reporting process, or will be next school year, join us in reviewing what you need to do in Synergy in order to make the Ed-Fi reporting process successful. We will run through existing and new screens in Synergy, and provide you with important information about where Ed-Fi required data elements need to be entered. We will also discuss current state reporting data, such as MARSS, and its relation to the Ed-Fi reporting requirements.

SchoolPay & Synergy

Fees! Fees! Fees! Join us in looking at the enhanced integration between SchoolPay and Synergy using the API process. Parents can now pay fees in ParentVUE with a single sign-on, and fee creation and payment information is passed between SchoolPay and Synergy seamlessly.…..Use SchoolPay to pay Course Fees – Activity Fees – Library Fees – Yearbook Fees – Misc. Fees – Hot Lunch payments.

Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) Data Transfer Process

Geared for your district nurse or other district health staff members, this session will review the new Synergy feature that allows districts to automate the transfer of confidential immunization records from the MIIC system. This will dramatically increase the efficiency of getting current, accurate vaccination information into Synergy.

Synergy/Edupoint Update
