Now that we are into the winter months we wanted to remind you that if you have a Virtual learning day you do not need to make any changes to the school calendars. However, if you have a Snow day, then you will want to update that day to Emergency in the School Calendar. 

If you have not selected to sync all terms to the grade book for your school, you will want to make sure you are selecting the new terms to sync. This is done on Grade Book District Mass Synchronization by showing the detail for your school. If you haven't already, make sure to go through the Grading Setup Checklist for each school doing grades in Synergy. We are still receiving calls and emails about different items that are covered here. These settings directly impact teachers and grading, and need to be reviewed each year. 

Synergy needs to be told what objectives on your report card to look at for your MCCC marks. This needs to be done once for every grade template. The template will keep the course setting from year to year. If you make any changes to your report cards during the summer, this process will need to be done again.
